Planning Stage

Mechanical insulation is not a one-size-fits-all proposition—a high-temperature pipe system involves very different insulation demands than a cryogenic system. It requires specialized expertise to select and install the right type of insulation for every system and its particular operating environment. At the same time, we understand that our clients, from construction contractors to facility managers, face unique challenges and constraints. We will work with you from the planning stages of your project to identify the appropriate insulation options for each system and then help you evaluate the costs, benefits, and ROI of each. All of our clients should be able to efficiently and cost-effectively address the complexities of protecting their sophisticated mechanical systems.

Installation

Whether your project involves a busy commercial center that cannot close, such as a school, shopping center, or hospital; whether it is an interior or exterior installation in a protected below-ground enclosure or on an exposed rooftop; or it’s a custom thermal energy conservation application, we can install your insulation solution on schedule with minimal disruption to your other activities. At no time will safety be sacrificed to accomplish these goals. We have decades of experience installing calcium silicate, spray foam, fiberglass, and many other insulation technologies, but we are especially known for our insulation blankets and pads, which are custom designed and fabricated from high-quality materials to perfectly fit your systems and endure the harshest conditions.

Maintenance

While our insulation systems are expertly planned and installed, they should receive periodic inspections and maintenance to repair any new damage that has occurred and replace any insulation that over time has lost its efficacy. By maintaining the energy-efficiency of your systems and preventing costlier risks, you can continue to maximize the return on your insulation investment. All of our insulation solutions are also designed to allow easy access to regularly serviceable items, such as valves, flanges, heat exchangers, pumps, and turbines. We will work with you to determine an appropriate schedule for inspections and maintenance. At a minimum, we recommend that maintenance be performed annually to ensure your facility’s insulation continues to meet the demands placed on it.
